Homelessness affects more than 300,000 people in the UK.
At Greater Change, we acknowledge the multiple and complex factors which can result in homelessness.
We aim to provide financial support to those who are homeless due to long-term structural failings.
Help others to help themselves by donating today.
What is the problem with cash?
how are we solving this?
When you give cash, you risk funding addictions and aiding professional begging.
As well as cash potentially being lost, we are living in an increasingly cashless society.
Money cannot be used in conjunction with Gift Aid or matched funding, it is used for short-term solutions.
Security and transparency
Money is held and accessed securely. It is clear exactly how donations will be spent.
Money is spent only on things which will make a long term difference. Donations can be increased by matched funding and gift aid.
welfare and support
Support workers refer only those who are committed to making long-term change. They also provide emotional support during this transition.
what Our partners are saying...
"The frustration that support workers in the homeless pathway often have is that we can see how an individual could be supported out of homelessness, but we can’t realise that because we don’t have the funds in place to enable somebody to take that next step to help them leave homelessness behind for good.
I think it is incredibly exciting that Greater Change allows the public to know they will be helping homeless people take that positive next step when they give through the platform."
